Consultation deadline extended for responses returned by post – Oct. 23, 2009

Due to postal strikes taking place on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 October, the deadline for questionnaire responses returned by post has been extended to midday on Monday 02 November.

October exhibition and questionnaire now available online – Oct. 12, 2009

The draft masterplan and information boards being used in the current consultation exhibitions are now available on the downloads section of this website, together with a questionnaire to allow people to give their feedback.

 

Public exhibition on the draft masterplan to take place – Oct. 2, 2009

A draft masterplan has now been prepared by the New Campus project team and will be shown at consultation exhibitions during 12 - 23 October.

These will on on display at the Underpass, near main reception at Frenchay and in refectory areas on St Matthias, Glenside and Bower Ashton campuses.

A staffed public exhibition will be held in The Street Cafe, New Redland Building/S Block, Frenchay Campus on Friday 16 October, 17:00 - 19:00 and Saturday 17 October, 10:00 - 16:00.

Report on July consultation feedback published – Sept. 21, 2009

A report is now available here, summarising and analysing the feedback to July’s consultation.

Staff, students, and others with an interest in the University were invited to give their views on the latest proposals for the new campus, including the University’s preferred approach.

Exhibitions of the latest proposals were held at the Frenchay campus from 16 – 18 July. A presentation was held for key stakeholders followed by an open exhibition which ran for three days, with 'meet the team' sessions. You can see the materials from the exhibitions here.

July Public Exhibition and Questionnaire Now Available Online – July 16, 2009

The latest proposals which show the University’s preferred approach to masterplanning the New Campus Project are now available on the downloads section of this website, together with a questionnaire to allow people to give their feedback.

Public exhibition to be held at Frenchay next week – July 8, 2009

The latest proposals which show the University’s preferred approach to masterplanning the New Campus Project will be shown at a public consultation exhibition next week.

The exhibition will be held in The Street Café, New Redland Building/S-Block, Frenchay Campus on Thursday 16 July, 14:00 – 19:00, Friday 17 July, 12:00 – 19:00 and Saturday 18 July, 10:00 – 15:00.

Report on June consultation feedback published – July 2, 2009

A report summarising and analysing the feedback to June’s consultation activities is now available from the downloads page of this website.

During June, staff, students, near neighbours, alumni, University partners  and key stakeholders were shown the emerging proposals for the new campus – a more detailed set of ideas and alternatives for how the campus could be developed over the coming 25 years than had been available at earlier stages of consultation in April and May.

Exhibitions of the emerging proposals were held at the Frenchay campus from Monday 8 June to Saturday 13 June, including two 'meet the team' sessions during the week and drop in sessions for near neighbours on the Friday and Saturday. A workshop was held for key stakeholders. You can see the materials from the exhibitions here.

Nearly 300 responses to emerging masterplan proposals – June 23, 2009

Thank you to everyone who has completed the latest New Campus Project questionnaire. We have so far received 299 responses. A summary feedback report is currently being produced and will be added to the downloads section of this website soon.

Responses to the new questionnaire which were received by Thursday 18 June will be included in the summary feedback report. Any further responses will be considered by the masterplanning team as part of ongoing consultation.

 

New questionnaire – June 12, 2009

A new questionnaire on the transformation of UWE Bristol's Frenchay campus is now available on this website.

It moves the consultation on to the next stage by providing an opportunity to respond in detail to the emerging proposals for the site being worked on by the project masterplanners.

Staff, students, near neighbours and key stakeholders were shown those proposals at exhibitions held at Frenchay this week (Monday 8 June - Saturday 13 June). The same information is also available from the download section of this website here.

 

Reminder: New Campus Project exhibitions at Frenchay next week – June 5, 2009

The latest ideas for the improvement and extension of UWE Bristol’s Frenchay campus will be shown to staff, students, stakeholders and near neighbours at exhibitions being held next week.

A drop-in exhibition for all students and staff will be held in the Underpass near the main reception at Frenchay from Monday (8 June) until Thursday (11 June). An exhibition for stakeholders and near neighbours will be held at The Street Café, New Redland Building/S-Block, Frenchay Campus on Friday (12 June) from 14:00 – 17:00 and next Saturday (13 June) from 10:00 – 14:00.

Members of the masterplanning team will be on hand to answer questions from 12pm-2pm on Monday and Thursday.

Information used in the exhibition will be uploaded to this website soon, along with a new questionnaire.
