Have Your Say
Consultation
The New Campus Project is about making UWE into a world class university fit for the 21st Century. That is why we want everyone whose life is touched by the University – from staff and students through to businesses, employers and members of the local community – to play a part in shaping the new campus.
Latest Update
- A draft masterplan has now been prepared for the New Campus. A consultation exhibition will take place from the 12-23 October on all UWE Bristol campuses, giving everyone the chance to view and respond to the latest proposals.
- A staffed public exhibition will take place on Friday 16 October, 17:00 - 19:00 and Saturday 17 October, 10:00 - 16:00 in The Street Cafe, New Redland Building, Frenchay Campus. There will be opportunities then to meet the masterplanning team and discuss the proposals - on the Friday between 17:00 - 19:00 and Saturday 12:00 - 14:00.
- An unstaffed exhibition will take place from Monday 12 - Friday 23 October in the Underpass, near main reception at Frenchay where anyone can drop in and view the plans. Unstaffed exhibitions will also take place in the refectory areas at Bower Ashton, Glenside and St Matthias campuses.
- There will be an additional opportunity to meet the masterplanning team and discuss the proposals on Monday 19 October, 12.30 - 14.30 in the Underpass, near main reception.
- From 12 October, you can also view the exhibition at the downloads section of this website and also give your response to the proposals by completing the latest online questionnaire. Responses received by midday on Monday 26 October will be included in a summary feedback report.
Previous Consultation Activity
- In April/May, initial workshops were held with staff, students and external stakeholders. A feedback report, the exhibition material and other information from the workshops is available from the downloads page of this website.
- In early June, a drop-in exhibition for all UWE students and staff and an exhibition for external stakeholders and near neighbours took place. Exhibition boards showing the emerging proposals, a questionnaire and the summary feedback report are available from the downloads page. Questionnaire responses that were received by Thursday 18 June are included in the feedback report.
- In July, UWE's Board of Governors indicated its preferred approach for the new campus and held a public consultation of that approach and the other options prepared by the New Campus Project masterplanners. A feedback report, the proposals, including the preferred option and the questionnaire, are available from the downloads page of this website. Questionnaire responses that were received by 30 July are included in the report.
